The following questions will be asked on the grant application. Please review and be prepared to respond if you are applying for the State Robotics Grant.

What grades does your school serve or will it serve in the upcoming fall semester?
Is your school classified as Title I?
What is the approximate number of students who receive free and reduced lunch?
Approximately how many students in your school identify as Caucasian?
Approximately how many students in your school identify as African-American?
Approximately how many students in your school identify as Hispanic?
Approximately how many students in your school identify as Asian-American?
Approximately how many students in your school identify as Hawaiian or Pacific Islander?
Approximately how many students in your school identify as Multi-Racial?
Approximately how many students in your school identify as a race not listed above?
Does your school currently have a Robotics Team?
Does your school currently have any robotics teams? If so, what type of robotics team? VEX VRC, FIRST FLL, FIRST FTC, FIRST FRC? Other?
What is the approximate number of students you plan on having on your robotics team (Recommended size 3-12)?
Do you have any experience with robotics? If yes, what type of experience? (Remember it is completely ok if you have no experience with robotics. We will train you!)
Why do you want to start a robotics team?
How much time are you willing to donate outside of the classroom for your robotics team?
Do you have access to volunteers who can support you with your robotics team or can TechPoint Foundation for Youth help you find volunteers?
If awarded this grant, how would the students at your school benefit?
