Macey Shambery served as the Foundation's STEM Outreach and Evaluation Coordinator for the past year. Her role extended far beyond that title, however, as she assisted in countless endeavors related to data collection, design, social media management, and event support. We are so grateful to Macey's dedication and hard work and we will greatly miss her. She is now working with the Indiana Youth Institute, and no doubt astounding her coworkers there with her creative ideas and can-do attitude.
Hear from Macey below:
"My time as an AmeriCorps VISTA has come to a bittersweet end. Although I am sad about leaving the great team at TechPoint Foundation, I am thrilled about my new job opportunity. I will be working as the Data and Research Program Manager at the Indiana Youth Institute. Some of my new role responsibilities include processing and fulfilling data requests, making state data more accessible to child advocates, and conducting and synthesizing research.
There are so many things I’ll miss about the Foundation, but here are a few:
Staff bonding and team building events
Spontaneous outings to local business in Broad Ripple
Interacting with students who participate in the Foundation’s programs
And lastly, the supporting, encouraging, and loving team members
Thank you to the TechPoint Foundation for Youth team and community for my incredible year of public service."
